Update - Fall 2025

We are sorry to share that our wait list is currently closed. While we recognize the significant needs in our community, our caseloads and capacity to properly support new clients at this time is currently full. We will update the website when this changes and hope to open up the waitlist in early 2026. In the meantime, we encourage you to keep seeking the support you need.

Therapy Services

We offer individual and family psychotherapy in nearby nature settings.

You are welcome to look through the individual therapists' bios and see who seems like they might be a good match for you.  Then you can include that when you complete the contact form.  Or if you are open to working with whoever has availability we can just let you know who that is or put you on the general practice waitlist.  You will always get a chance to talk with the therapist before starting and see if it seems like it could be a good fit.

Insurance & Fees

INSURANCE PLANS ACCEPTED:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Cigna
  • Health Partners
  • Hennepin Health
  • Medica *
  • Medical Assistance
  • Minnesota Care
  • Optum/UBH/UHC/UMR*
  • UCare
  • TriCare

* Note that Annie Bunio and Wensday Berman are not able to accept Medica/Optum/UBH/UHC/UMR at this time.

For other insurances, upon request, we can provide you with a detailed receipt (superbill) to submit for out-of-network benefits.

Out-of-pocket costs for clients using insurance often include copays/coinsurance for each visit. These amounts will vary depending on your particular policy. Some clients may also need to pay a deductible before their insurance will cover any amount. If you plan to use insurance, you should verify those details before starting therapy.

Credit card, check or cash accepted.  Auto pay can be set up through the electronic health record portal for copays, payments towards your deductible or for private pay.  Payment due the week of the service unless other arrangements are made.

PRIVATE PAY:

Initial session(s)/Diagnostic Assessment: (60 min):  $220

Therapy session (60 min): $180.   (45 min): $160.

(the fee is the same for Outside or Telehealth sessions.)

Self-Pay Discount and Economic Hardship.

We are committed to serving our community and making this therapy accessible, while balancing economic sustainability for ourselves and our families.  A therapy discount may be available for clients who have high deductibles for mental health, those without insurance, or those who prefer to access therapy without using insurance (which eliminates the requirement for a diagnosis and affords maximum privacy).   Please ask for more information if this applies to you.

Good Faith Estimate.

According to the “The No Surprises Act" (2022), patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for the expected cost of treatment. Your therapist will collaborate with you to determine how many sessions you may need, based on your diagnosis and treatment goals. For more information, please speak with your therapist or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Some people feel the rain; others just get wet.
