We have a home office near Lake Nokomis that we share, but most sessions take place outdoors year-round in natural spaces near Lake Nokomis and Hiawatha, Minnehaha Creek and Falls and the Mississippi River. We avoid high traffic areas and opt instead for more private, natural spaces.
🍂 Therapists will be available in specific locations on different days and times.
🍂 As needed, we can work together to find a meeting location that is accessible by public transportation.
🍂 Being out in all kinds of weather presents challenges and opportunities that will be part of the therapeutic work, but we will never go outside if the weather is too uncomfortable or unsafe. Or if you feel too uncomfortable or unsafe. On those days we can meet over video. or in an indoor office if available.

Minneapolis Nature-Based Therapy is located on land that has been cared for and called home by Indigenous people from time immemorial up to the present day. The land was stolen from the Dakota people by the U.S. Government in 1805 through the illegitimate “Pike’s Treaty.” We must acknowledge this truth and support efforts to repair, even if they are never enough.
Working on this land and near sacred sites we will recognize and honor the Dakota people of the past, present and future.
Note: If you or your family were directly impacted by the tragedy at Annunciation, please ignore the message below and DO reach out. We will figure out together how we can help.

We will update the website when this changes and hope to open up the waitlist in early 2026. In the meantime, we encourage you to keep seeking the support you need.
