Sessions take place outdoors year-round in natural spaces in or near Minneapolis and parts of St. Paul. We can avoid high traffic areas (like busy lakes) and opt instead for more private, natural areas.
🍂 Therapists will be available in specific locations on different days and times.
🍂 As needed, we can work together to find a meeting location that is accessible by public transportation.
🍂 Being out in all kinds of weather presents challenges and opportunities that will be part of the therapeutic work, but we will never go outside if the weather is too uncomfortable or unsafe. On those days we can meet over Telehealth video.

Minneapolis Nature-Based Therapy is located on land that has been cared for and called home by Indigenous people from time immemorial up to the present day. The land was stolen from the Dakota people by the U.S. Government in 1805 through the illegitimate “Pike’s Treaty.” We must acknowledge this truth and support efforts to repair, even if they are never enough.
Working on this land and near sacred sites we will recognize and honor the Dakota people of the past, present and future.
